Inside the Svitch Ahmedabad factory floor

Svitch's 1,40,000 sq ft Ahmedabad facility is the only EV two-wheeler plant in India where battery packs, motor controllers, and final assembly all happen under one roof.

The plant employs 312 people across three shifts and currently produces 5,200 CSR 762 units a month. Localisation, by value, is 78% — among the highest in the Indian EV two-wheeler segment.

Battery Line

Cells are sourced from a single qualified supplier, but the packs are designed, assembled, and tested in-house. Each pack goes through a 16-hour formation cycle plus thermal-soak testing before being mated to a bike.

We don't just want to assemble in India — we want to engineer in India. Every Svitch is a product of our team, our suppliers, and our country.

Quality Gates

Every finished bike spends 22 minutes on a dyno run before leaving the line. Software is flashed last — each unit boots with a unique cryptographic identity that ties it to its owner at the dealer.
