Purchase & Supply Chain Head
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head – Purchase & Supply Chain Head to lead sourcing
strategy, vendor development, procurement operations, and cost optimisation for our EV two-
wheeler manufacturing business.
This role will own end-to-end supply chain performance, ensuring uninterrupted material availability,
optimised procurement costs, strong vendor partnerships, and alignment with production and
business growth targets.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with business and production goals.
- Lead procurement of key EV components: battery packs, cells, BMS, motors, controllers, electronics, chassis parts, plastics, and aggregates.
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop reliable suppliers.
- Own BOM cost reduction targets.

- Drive value engineering and cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.
- Ensure seamless coordination between procurement, production, planning, and logistics teams.
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Good to Have
- Build and lead a high-performance procurement and supply chain team.
- Implement ERP/SCM systems and digitization initiatives.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards for continuous monitoring and improvement.
Key Skills
